Before I begin this blog, let me remind my readers of a very important fact.

This blog, and this site, is not just about coaching.

This site is also about shameless self-promotion; in other words, it's a platform for my agenda, my opinions, my world view, and my generally profound insights into the human condition, the state of the world, and just about anything I feel like discussing. Remember, I'm Andre Traversa, or Andre Controversa, the controversial coach; so Andre's my name, and controversy's my game. Besides, I have an excuse; I'm a former radio talk-show host with plans to return to the airwaves; so I can't resist sharing my opinions. It's an addiction, it's beyond my control. So, in case you see anything on this blog that's not directly related to coaching, you'll know why; it's because this blog is not just about coaching; it's a forum for me to express the fullness of who I am.

Welcome to the Controversial Coach’s blog!  I know Andre.  He’s a brilliant engaging presence on our planet.  He calls himself “conservative” yet I find him to be that all too rare “compassionate conservative.”  He’s absolutely right about his intention to coach you up front and personally.  When he pours his passion into our encounters I know he is an honest, straight talking, caring and valuable source of wisdom and growth.  He is a provocateur in the best sense of being my mirror and showing me my present condition and my options, my challenges and my opportunities.  I hope you will take the chance to engage Andre and take him up on his offer of a free initial coaching session.  Best wishes, Andre, on your great adventure, and best wishes to all those whom you touch through this blog and web site.  (Len Daley, Montgomery, AL)
